Suzuki Glass Manufacturing was founded in 1932 when Suzuki Takematsu, a sailor, brought back glass containers from a foreign land in the early Showa period. The origins of Suzutake lie in the pioneering spirit that paves the way to the future.
More than 100 years ago, a sailor crossed the sea and visited a foreign land.
While stopping by a store, he happened to see beautiful glass containers he had never seen before.
They came in a variety of colors and shapes that were not yet widely used in Japan at the time, and the sailor was instantly captivated and bought one.
After returning to Japan, the sailor founded Suzuki Glass Manufacturing in 1932 and made lenses.
However, the charm of the glass containers he saw in a foreign land remained in his mind, and 13 years after starting to make lenses, he decided to make his long-cherished dream of manufacturing glass containers. This was the beginning of Suzutake, and that sailor was Suzuki Takematsu, the founder of Suzutake, Co., Ltd.
Since its founding as Suzuki Glass Manufacturing in 1932, Suzutake, Co., Ltd. has been searching for and pursuing the ideal of glass for over 90 years.
Born in ancient times, glass continues to fascinate people even in today's world where new materials are developed every day. When considering the reason for this, it is because glass has two extreme charms: beauty and ever-changing flexibility, as well as the delicacy and strength that allows it to be used as raw material and quickly regenerated into another glass container, even though it is a material that breaks and shatters ephemerally. The "splendor," "flexibility," and "strength" of glass are also the way of our company.
We provide customers with glass containers that protect their important products and add even more color to them.
We strive to improve our technology and services every day so that we can provide customers and end users with peace of mind, trust, and dreams.
