History of Suzutake Group
1932 Suzuki Takematsu founded Suzuki Glass Manufacturing at 4-3 Yokokawabashi, Sumida-ku, Tokyo.
1941 The joint venture was established as "Tokyo Glasses Lens Co., Ltd. 2nd Factory."
1942 Established "Yashima Denpa Kogyo Co., Ltd." (Head office: 70 Miyawaki-cho, Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture and Tokyo factory).
1945 The company name was changed to "Daiichi Glass Factory Co., Ltd." and production of general-purpose glass containers began.
1950 Suzutake Glass Factory is established at 1-9 Oshima, Koto-ku, Tokyo, and begins manufacturing high-end cosmetic containers.
1955 Changed company name to "Suzutake Limited Company"
1960 Changed company name to "Suzutake Co., Ltd."
1962 Sayama office opened
1975 The melting furnace was changed from a joint melting furnace to a non-polluting single melting furnace.
1980 To expand the business, Suzutake Shoji Limited Company was established. Taketoshi Suzuki was appointed president.
1982 Taketoshi Suzuki becomes president of Suzutake Co., Ltd.
1984 Established affiliate company "B-Tec Co., Ltd." Taketoshi Suzuki became president.
1986 Suzutake Building completed. B-Tec Co., Ltd. Higashimatsuyama Factory completed.
1993 "Hangzhou Hangling Glass Co., Ltd." (opened jointly, with capital of 600,000 yuan) was established at No. 949 Moganshan Road, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China.
1995 Established Hangzhou Suzun Cosmetics Co., Ltd. (wholly owned, capital of 1.3 million dollars) on Xinmei Road, Xiaoshan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China.
2000 In Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, "Hangzhou Jingling Cosmetic Co., Ltd." (opened jointly, capital 340,000 dollars) was established.
2002 Increased capital for Hangzhou Suzun Cosmetics Co., Ltd., increasing capital to 4 million dollars.
2004 Opened construction of the "B-Tec Sakado Factory". Closed the Sayama office to consolidate operations.
2005 The joint venture Hangzhou Hangling Glass Co., Ltd. was fully invested and relocated to Deqing, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. The company name was changed to Deqing Suzutake Glass Co., Ltd.
2006 Suzutake Co., Ltd. moves its headquarters from Oshima, Koto Ward to Kameido, Koto Ward. The headquarters factory becomes the Tokyo Factory.
2007 Due to the expansion of production, Hangzhou Jingling Cosmetics Co., Ltd. was relocated to the Hangzhou Industrial Zone.
2010 To expand business, the "B-Tec Miyoshi Factory" was opened.
2011 Huangdao, Qingdao City, Shandong Province "Seiko Glass Co., Ltd. (Japanese sole proprietorship)" is a buyer. "Qingdao Lingcheng Makeup Equipment Co., Ltd." was established.
2012 Suzutake Co., Ltd. closes its Tokyo factory.
2013 Responding to a request from the government to relocate, Hangzhou Suzusei Cosmetics Co., Ltd. was closed. Glass container production bases were consolidated into Qingdao Suzusei Cosmetics Co., Ltd.
2016 Due to environmental regulations, Hangzhou Jingling Cosmetics Co., Ltd. was closed. Full-scale production began on the premises of Qingdao Lingcheng Cosmetics Co., Ltd.
2018 Takenori Suzuki becomes president of Suzutake Co., Ltd.
2019 Takenori Suzuki becomes president of B-Tec Corporation.
